We’ve been alongside the FIS Freeride World Tour since 2020, but in 2026 the adventure reached a whole new level: Alaska.

For freeriders, it’s the ultimate playground. For a production team, it’s a serious challenge. With the perfect weather window opening earlier than expected, the event was brought forward by two days — before the official waiting period had even begun.

From the moment the crew stepped off the plane, it was straight into the mountains. Equipment, cameras, broadcast systems and teams all had to be deployed at speed, with one goal in mind: be ready when the mountain was.
